I'm back to work!

Been out of the office for a few days... lately I've been suffering from lower back pains, lack of sleep, and recurring headaches. My doctor said I have to take it easy and advised that I take a break from work.

Had my X-ray of the Lumbo Sacral Spine last Friday and will be back to the hospital to check the results tomorrow. Being at home was a welcome thing for me since I was able to spend more time with my family and do attend to domestic stuff. It's kinda boring though because I can't go out and have turned down invites from my friends to go out since I really need to rest and take it easy or else.

It's nice to be back but I might need to file a leave again depending on the result of the X-ray. My doctor said I might need to undergo PT for next couple of days. I guess I needed this as well. Lately I've been pushing back on my vacation because of work... until now.

My first day at the gym

I woke up pretty early than usual today... woke up around 2PM and decided to grab something to eat (technically that's was my breakfast). Slept really late last night (3AM) coming from Enchanted Kingdom. Check out my previous blog here.

I left the house around 5PM to go to Pan Pacific Hotel at Slimmers World International Adriatico Gym. I would have left earlier than that if my sister didn't ask me to help her with her pets (Gold Fishes). It was a good 1 hour travel from Valenzuela to Manila but traffic wasn't that congested today. I guess everyone's in the provinces for the holiday. Slimmers is on the 6th Floor of the hotel just 5 minutes walk from Pedro Gil's LRT station. I got there and talked to Ms. Agnes who at that time I think was already to step out of the gym but still was very accommodating and ushered me into the changing room while she takes care of my files. After I changed into my gym clothes I went back to the reception area but unfortunately Ms. Agnes already stepped out. The receptionist was very helpful though and referred me to one of the Gym Instructors by the name of Jeff. Well Jeff was nice and there's something about him that says he's all business and serious with his job. He started telling me what to do and I guess he noticed that it wasn't my first time to go to the gym so he told me if the weights are a little to light for me to feel free and add more. Surprisingly my first day at the gym was great. There were some small details though that they need to work on. There are only two shower rooms in the male's locker room. Not that it was a problem a while ago since there was hardly a dozen of us working out that time. The locker that they had me use was old and the lock was not working. Good thing I have my own padlock. Other than that everything was cool with me. The staff seem to be alot friendlier than the other Fitness clubs that I've been too. I'm looking forward to going back to the gym and having my free massage and facial that comes with the package I got. :)

Goodbye BABOY lifestyle

I'm going back to the gym come June. :)

I'm looking for gym bags, gym shoes, and supplements online and I'm so confused with all these options to choose from.

Any recommendations?

Zero Sugar?

NOT SO SURE IF THIS IS TRUE... JUST GOT THIS EMAIL FROM A FRIEND

In October of 2001, my sister started getting very sick. She had stomach spasms and she was having a hard time getting around. Walking was a major chore. It took everything she had just to get out of bed; she was in so much pain.

By March 2002, she had undergone several tissue and muscle biopsies and was on 24 various prescription medications. The doctors could not determine what was wrong with her. She was in so much pain, and so sick.she just knew she was dying. She put her house, bank accounts, lifeinsurance, etc., in her oldest daughter's name, and made sure that her younger children were to be taken care of.

She also wanted her last hooray, so she planned a trip to Florida (basically in a wheelchair) for March 22 nd.

On March 19 I called her to ask how her most recent tests went, and she said they didn't find anything on the test, but they believe she had MS.
I recall ed an article a friend of mine e-mailed to me and I asked my sister if she drank diet soda? She told me that she did. As a matter of fact, she was getting ready to crack one open that moment.

I told her not to open it, and to stop drinking the diet soda!
I e-mailed her the article my friend, a lawyer, had sent.
My sister called me within 32 hours after our phone conversation and told me she had stopped drinking the diet soda AND she could walk! The muscle spasms went away. She said she didn't feel 100% but she sure felt a lot better. She told me she was going to her doctor with this article and would call me when she got home.

Well, she called me, and said her doctor was amazed! He is going to call all of his MS patients to find out if they consumed artificial sweeteners of any kind.
In a nutshell, she was being poisoned by the Aspartame in the diet soda...and literally dying a slow and miserable death.

When she got to Florida March 22, all she had to take was one pill, and that was a pill for the Aspartame poisoning! She is well on her way to a complete recovery.
And she is walking! No wheelchair! This article saved her life.
If it says 'SUGAR FREE' on the label; DO NOT EVEN THINK ABOUT IT!
I have spent several days lecturing at the WORLD ENVIRONMENTAL CONFERENCE on 'ASPARTAME,' marketed as 'NutraSweet,' 'Equal,' and 'Spoonful.'

In the keynote address by the EPA, it was announced that in the United States in 2001 there is an epidemic of multiple sclerosis and systemic lupus. It was difficult to determine exactly what toxin was causing this to be rampant.
I stood up and said that I was there to lecture on exactly that subject.
I will explain why Aspartame is so dangerous: When the temperature of this sweetener exceeds 86 degrees F, the wood alcohol in ASPARTAME converts to formaldehyde and then to formic acid, which in turn causes metabolic acidosis. Formic acid is the poison found in the sting of fire ants. The methanol toxicity mimics, among other conditions, multiple sclerosis and systemic lupus. Many people were being diagnosed in error. Although multiple sclerosis is not a death sentence, Methanol toxicity is!

Systemic lupus has become almost as rampant as multiple sclerosis, especially with Diet Coke and Diet Pepsi drinkers. The victim usually does not know that the Aspartame is the culprit. He or she continues its use; irritating the lupus to such a degree that it may become a life-threatening condition.
We have seen patients with systemic lupus become asymptotic, once taken off diet sodas.

In cases of those diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis, most of the symptoms disappear. We've seen many cases where vision loss returned and hearing loss improved markedly.

This also applies to cases of tinnitus and fibromyalgia.
During a lecture, I said, 'If you are using ASPARTAME (NutraSweet, Equal, Spoonful, etc) and you suffer from fibromyalgia symptoms, spasms, shooting, pains, numbness in your legs, cramps, vertigo, dizziness, headaches, tinnitus, joint pain, unexplainable depression, anxiety attacks, slurred speech, blurred vision, or memory loss you probably have ASPARTAME poisoning!'
People were jumping up during the lecture saying, 'I have some of these symptoms. Is it reversible?'

Yes! Yes! Yes! STOP drinking diet sodas and be alert for Aspartame on food labels! Many products are fortified with it! This is a serious problem.
Dr. Espart (one of my speakers) remarked that so many people seem to be symptomatic for MS and during his recent visit to a hospice, a nurse stated that six of her friends, who were heavy Diet Coke addicts, had all been diagnosed with MS. This is beyond coincidence!

Diet soda is NOT a diet product! It is a chemically altered, multiple SODIUM (salt) and ASPARTAME containing product that actually makes you crave carbohydrates. It is far more likely to make you GAIN weight!

These products also contain formaldehyde, which stores in the fat cells, particularly in the hips and thighs. Formaldehyde is an absolute toxin andis used primarily to preserve 'tissue specimens.' Many products we use every day contain this chemical but we SHOULD NOT store it IN our body!

Dr. H. J. Roberts stated in his lectures that once free of the 'diet products' and with no significant increase in exercise; his patients lost an average of 19 pounds over a trial period.

Aspartame is especially dangerous for diabetics.
We found that some physicians, who believed that they had a patient with retinopathy, in fact, had symptoms caused by Aspartame.
The Aspartame drives the bloodsugar out of control. Thus diabetics may suffer acute memory loss due to the fact that aspartic acid and phenylalanine are NEUROTOXIC when taken without the other amino acids necessary for a good balance.

Treating diabetes is all about BALANCE. Especially with diabetics, the Aspartame passes the blood/brain barrierand it then deteriorates the neurons of the brain; causing various levels of brain damage, seizures, depression, manic depression, panic attacks, uncontrollable anger and rage.

Consumption of Aspartame causes these same symptoms in non-diabetics as well.
Documentation and observation also reveal that thousands of children diagnosed with ADD and ADHD have had complete turnarounds in their behavior when these chemicals have been removed from their diet. So called 'behavior modification prescription drugs' (Ritalin and others) are no longer needed. Truth be told, they were never NEEDED in the first place! Most of these children were being 'poisoned' on a daily basis with the very foods that were 'better for them than sugar.'

It is also suspected that the Aspartame in thousands of pallets of diet Coke and diet Pepsi consumed by men and women fighting in the Gulf War, may be partially to blame for the well-known Gulf War Syndrome.

Dr. Roberts warns that it can cause birth defects, i.e . mental retardation, if taken at the time of conception and during early pregnancy.
Children are especially at risk for neurological disorders and should NEVER be given artificial sweeteners. There are many different case histories to relate of children suffering grand mal seizures and other neurological disturbances talking about a plague of neurological diseases directly caused by the use of this deadly poison.'

Herein lies the problem:
There were Congressional Hearings when Aspartame was included 100 different products and strong objection was made concerning its use. Since this initial hearing, there have been two subsequent hearings, and still nothing has been done. The drug and chemical lobbies have very deep pockets.

Sadly, MONSANTO'S patent on Aspartame has EXPIRED!
There are now over 5,000 products on the market that contain this deadly chemical and there will be thousands more introduced. Everybody wants a 'piece of the Aspartame pie.' I assure you that MONSANTO, the creator of Aspartame, knows how deadly it is.

And isn't it ironic that MONSANTO funds, among others, the American Diabetes Association, the American Dietetic Association and the Conference of the American College of Physicians?

This has been recently exposed in the New York Times.
These [organizations] cannot criticize any additives or convey their link to MONSANTO because they take money from the food industry and are required to endorse their products.

Senator Howard Metzenbaum wrote and presented a bill that would require label warnings on products containing Aspartame, especially regarding pregnant women, children and infants. The bill would also institute independent studies on the known dangers and the problems existing in the general population regarding seizures, changes in brain chemistry, neurological changes and behavioral symptoms.
The bill was killed.

It is known that the powerful drug and chemical lobbies are responsible for this, letting loose the hounds of disease and death on an unsuspecting and uninformed public. Well, you're Informed now! YOU HAVE A RIGHT TO KNOW!

Hangover!

Been out of the weather since Sunday (coming from my long vacation). I think I had too much alcohol. Too much of a good thing can sometimes be bad! Hehehe! I took meds for the liver and it gave me comfort after... The thing is, last night when I thought I was feeling better, it happened again. Ok, I'm a workaholic! I still went to work although alot of my friends have been telling me not to. I just had to go. I was absent for two days (wed and thurs) because there was a problem with the scheduled leave due to some changes in our shift.

My co-workers are so sweet! They wanted me to die! Just kidding! I was having a hard time breathing this morning and had to go to the clinic for the first time since I worked here in Dell. The nurse was accommodating but I guess he wasn't sure if I was just faking it because I was cracking jokes here and there! That's me... even in times of emergency I still get to show my funny side! Anyway they checked my Blood Pressure and Pulse and found nothing wrong with me. The nurse asked if I have asthma... I said I used to have when I was a kid but that was a long time ago! Dang! I don't wanna have asthma now that I'm older! That's just too WEAK!

They then said I may just be suffering from an ANXIETY Attack! Who? Me? I don't think so! I mean, I don't totally love my work but it pays the bills... I was just doing an impersonation of Ryan from American Idol infront of my co-workers when I started having a hard time breathing again. Anyway, I'll try to sleep early today and see if I feel better tonight.

Eclipse's Guide to Men's Fitness

Something I read online from Eclipse's website. Any comments?

Their website: http://www.eclipsegym.com/articles/men.html

Welcome to Eclipse and the Eclipse training program for men. This program is a combination of some of the most effective strength and conditioning programs developed over the past 30 years. We’ve eliminated all of the misinformation and often outright lies taught in mainstream fitness and bodybuilding magazines as well as most mainstream fitness centers and have tested and designed a fool-proof program for you to eliminate any needless guesswork or self-experimentation. If you wish to hire a coach to guide each aspect of training for you from start to finish, you are certainly allowed to do so, but the coaches are always available to answer your basic questions. We have created a do-it-yourself program available that simply does not fail to add size, strength, or both to even a trainee with many years of weight training experience. This program is the basic foundation for sports, modeling, bodybuilding, powerlifting, and everything in-between. Special programs can be designed following this foundation program such as jump-training to increase your vertical to dunk a basketball. Below are some pointers and rules to follow.

rule 1

Workout 3 times per week, for example, Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. Take the weekends off. Soreness is simply lactic acid in your muscles and you can train them even when you are still sore and continue to make rapid progress. You can obviously do the same thing with Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday and then take Sunday and Monday off. As your weights get heavier you should take 3 days off after three consecutive every-other-day training sessions. The key is that you need 2-3 days off after each bench press session. This is one of our most commonly observed mistakes with trainees at Eclipse 24/7 Fitness Center.

rule 2

If you are trying to gain size and strength, you MUST eat 5-6 meals per day, striving to gain 1-2 lbs of weight per week. If you do not gain at least 1lb per week on average, you need to eat more. You cannot expect to gain muscle and lose fat at the same time. While it’s possible, you should instead focus on getting as big and strong as possible. Remember that you don’t see models or actors who are well-built during the off-season when they tend to gain fat while trying to gain muscle. You only see them during their photo shoots after they’ve spent 6 months bulking then dieting/cutting to reveal six-pack abs and chiseled chest, shoulders, and legs. If your shirt or jeans aren’t getting tighter or the scale is not increasing, or especially you are not breaking personal records in the gym, you need to be eating more. When I began training I was the skinniest guy in the gym at 5’10" and 115lbs. I bulked up to as high as 210lbs until dieting down to my contest-ready weight of about 175lbs with 6% bodyfat. My current off-season weight is about 185-190lbs. The point is that when I want to get bigger or stronger, I have learned that gaining a few extra pounds of fat is to be expected and helps keep you injury free.

rule 3

Your meals should be a balance of protein and carbohydrates. You can eat rice, even when you diet, as long as you combine it with a protein source. Examples of carbohydrates are rice, pasta, camote, fruits, or vegetables. Examples of protein are eggs, chicken, fish, beef, beans, milk, and nuts. If you are a vegetarian you can eat red beans and brown rice for a complete source of protein. If you are worried about high cholesterol from eggs, don’t be afraid. Eggs won’t increase your cholesterol as long as they are eaten in moderation. For example, if you are going to eat omelets, eat one with 1 yolk and three whites. Avoid sugary drinks and bread. Eat whatever you want once per day as long as it’s in moderation, and always use good common sense. DO NOT do a cheat day. Cheat days are usually a disastrous display of unbridled gluttony that should be avoided at all costs.

rule 4

If you are dieting, for example, eat half of a cup of rice and an ulam such as 100 grams of corned beef or a chicken breast 5 times per day. Also eat 3 egg white plus one egg yolk omelets filled with vegetables or whatever else you like to use. Strive to lose an average of 1lb per week when dieting. Starving yourself will slow your metabolism, so eat often in small portions.

rule 5

If you gain fat easily, strive to eat one cup rice per meal plus the 100 grams of corned beef or a serving of chicken such as a breast or thigh during your strength/mass gaining phase.

rule 6

If you have a hard time gaining mass and strength, you must eat as much and as often as you can. Eat at least 2 cups of rice per meal plus more protein rich food. Also eat 1 lb of peanuts or natural peanut butter per day and 1 liter of milk in addition to your 5 full meals per day.

rule 7

Extra ab training is not necessary to gain a 6 pack since you can’t spot reduce fat in your mid-section and abs grow when doing heavy basic movements such as squats. The abs must be trained like any muscle in the body, but they respond best to reps in the 1-7 range. In the first 2 phases of your training, your abs will develop through indirect stimulus while squatting, deadlifting, overhead pressing, pull-ups, dynamic rows, and bench press since they are critical for stability. If you feel that you simply must do abs and not training them directly will cause you anxiety, we’ll add them to your program, but you’ll likely develop them better if you leave out ab training until phase 3. Any ab training should be performed LAST since abs, again, are critical to stability during your regular training movements.

rule 8

Squatting is the core of your training. If you don’t want to squat, then don’t expect to grow at the same rate as your fellow trainees. The old saying goes, ‘If you are not squatting, you are not training.’ You cannot substitute leg extensions or leg presses for squats. Squats are actually the safest exercise for knees and make them stronger if done correctly. They also increase testosterone and growth hormone production. All of our current successful trainees are squatting, so learn to put squats above all other exercises in their importance. Even the girls tell us to not let the guys look like Johnny Bravo. That’s unlikely since guys with skinny legs rarely have significant upper body growth.

rule 9

Extra arm training is unnecessary. The guys with the best developed arms at Eclipse never do direct arm training. Ask any of our long-time members who did curls and extensions before. They will all tell you that their arms grew at least an inch in diameter after all of the heavy rowing, pulling, and pressing movements we teach. Their biggest fears were that their arms would shrink after they stopped curling, but instead they grew.

Arms and abs are easy to over-train. Trust in our time-tested program and watch arms fill out your sleeves for the first time and feel your abs get stronger without doing 1000 crunches.

rule 10

Shoes are optional. We recommend that you do not wear shoes unless you are on the treadmill or in a class. Chuck Taylors or special squatting shoes are okay. Regular rubber/athletic shoes cause instability and are the source of most injuries in sports and will make your weights heavier when you squat and dead lift. Always use good common sense if your feet are bare. Look before you step or at least wear sandals when moving around the gym floor.

rule 11

Too much cardio is bad when you are trying to get bigger or stronger. When in phases 1-2, limit cardio to 15 minutes of HIIT on the treadmill or ask a coach to teach you the Tabata method for limiting fat gain when bulking. Unless you gain fat easily, you should not do cardio when bulking. If you do cardio, do it only following your workout.

rule 12

You do not need supplements. Supplement mania is the result of hype, marketing, and outright lies. Most bodybuilding magazines depend on supplement advertising to survive. If they do not cater to supplement companies, they will go out of business. Slick and sly marketing is the reason most people who are reading this believe that they need supplements to make significant gains. If you are eating enough food and are training properly, you will grow. Period. It would be wise, however, to take a quality multi-vitamin. Chew it to ensure break-down and absorption. Also take elemental magnesium. This is very important since most athletes are critically deficient when tested. Creatine either clearly works or it doesn’t. If you try it and are ‘not sure’ if you are getting results, you most likely are not. If creatine is working, you’ll gain 5-10lbs in your first week and your strength will go up at least 10%. Stop taking it and save your money for real food if you don’t see a big difference. Fat burners do not make a significant difference for most people.

rule 13

Free weights are superior to machines. Most machines and their so-called science and testing are funded fully by the manufacturers of said machines. If a scientist dares to challenge the ‘findings’ of the machine manufacturers, they are basically black-listed from receiving funding themselves. You would be correct if you are wondering how a test could be objective and honest if the person paying the scientist to study something is also the owner of the product. Machines also cause imbalances that lead to injuries. When the prime mover muscles get stronger on machines, the delicate stabilizer muscles get weaker and vulnerable to serious injury. If you need a test, go ahead and train on machines for one month and then switch to free weights. Not only will you only lift maybe half of what you did on the machines, you will have very poor control of your ability to stabilize and balance the weights. This is what happens when you use a contraption that does most of the work for you. Balance and stability is one of the main purposes of fitness centers, and this is not achieved from weight machines. Always build your foundation using free weights for maximum long-term safety, results, stability, and balance.

rule 14

When you are finished, rack the weights to their storage areas, even if you found them on the bar already when you began. Your maid or yaya doesn’t work here and if you think that someone isn’t watching you when you leave your weights on the bar, think again. Even if someone doesn’t say something to you about it, mental negative points are being accumulated against you if you don’t put back what you take out. Pick up after yourself always as your way of respecting your fellow lifters and Eclipse and its coaches. Always ask a coach if you need help.

Pointers when training

In Phase 1-2, always rest 5 minutes in-between sets unless you are pyramiding. Dead lifts and squats require as much as 10 minutes in-between your heaviest sets, especially during a failure test that you’ll do during Phase 2.

Always hold your breath when you are performing each rep. For example, in the bench press, when you are holding the weight at its highest point is when you’ll breathe. Hold your breath when the bar travels down to touch your chest and then back up again. Then exhale and inhale to prepare for the next rep. Another example is the squat. Before you squat, take a deep breath and hold it. Then go all the way down as your coach instructs. Do not exhale until you are back at the top of the movement. Take a breath and repeat the rep.

Follow the program exactly as written and do not do extra exercises or force reps also known as a ‘spot’. Forcing a rep is the fastest way to over train. Doing extra exercises or sets is also a sure formula for overtraining. Also, DO NOT STRETCH BEFORE TRAINING! Pre-workout stretching of a muscle weakens it and makes it vulnerable for injury.

You are not required to follow our training when at Eclipse, but if you do, you will make more progress on it than you ever have before at other gyms. All you need to do is ask our long-time members if you want to be convinced further. Happy workout!

An angry comment from Anonymous

Got an angry comment about an article I posted last year regarding Beverly Hills 6750. Honestly I based the information from their website.

Anonymous said that BH6750 is not connected in anyway with BHSI in California. This got me really curious as to why this person posted such a comment and from the sound of it this person is affected by the article. I then went and search for answers online and here's what I found.

Goodbye Fitness First!

I'm officially canceling my membership with Fitness First starting Feb 2008. I'm planning to move to either Golds or Slimmers... Golds because the facilities are almost the same as Fitness'. Slimmers because it's closer to my place. Hmmm...

Fitness First @ Mall of Asia

DSC00021

Fitness First - Mall of Asia is now open. Went there yesterday during their grand opening and this is definitely one of the biggest and most best facility of Fitness First so far. From the machines down to the lockers with magnetic cards this club has the best. The lounge is big enough with free internet soon. The mind and body room for pilates and body balance is very chic and relaxing! The wet areas are is as huge as the ones at D Block and The Fort.

Unfortunately they weren't ready when they opened yesterday. First of all the magnetic cards that you are given to access the lockers once you enter the gym is not very practical. It's very easy to lose the card plus they didn't even show the members how to use them so there were alot who got confused. There's also no hot water yet and you have to suffer taking a shower with cold water. The weights are not there yet and they said it will be available by Monday next week.

I guess I should go back next week then. For now I'll just enjoy working out in Makati or at D Block whenever I go home to my folks. Hey I'm not saying the facility is bad... My suggestion is not to go there within the week and probably go check it out later next week when everything is in place.

A day in the spa

Lucien at the Spa

Lucien enjoying our SPA day!

After gym Lucien and I decided to go to our favorite snack place "TAPA KING". We both got Grilled Chicken with Green Salad with Honey Mustard Sauce for him and Vinegrette for me... Too bad I forgot to take pictures. I guess we were both hungry.

When we finished we ate BTIC Frozen Yogurt... Yummy! We then headed back to the condo and saw my cuz Raven who wasn't feeling good. Got some meds for him and decided to check out the spa downstairs. Hehehe! Got ourselves pampered before going to work tonight. We left the spa stress free and a bit sleepy.

I wish everyday is a spa day!

Tapa King!

Definitely one of my fave place to get a quick snack. Tapa King is everywhere and there's so much to choose from... that's if you like Filipino food. And they're very affordable and they even serve greens. :)

Pork and Tofu - Yummy!

Fake Boobies!

I went to Beverly Hills 6750 the other day to get a facial with friends and we got a little carried away with the fake boobies.

I had fun talking to Dr. Camille Angeles (my Dermatologist) and her husband Dr. Arnold Angeles (Plastic Surgeon). By the way Beverly Hills 6750 is an affiliate of Beverly Hills Surgical Institute of California in the US offering skin care, cosmetic dentistry, and cosmetic surgery to their clients. Their office is at the 11th floor 6750 Bldg. along Ayala.

Cuzins' Weekend Adventure!

At Gold's Gym Makati

09062007038

09062007056

A re-post from my Cuz Raven's Blog... Hehehe! Ofcourse I had to edit this...

It was Saturday afternoon when Gerard & Ayan planned to spend the weekend w/ Me, They both took the train from the north to my place. Laughters and giggles were everywhere, as I opened the door they both gave me a big hug and started talking about what has happened for the pasr 2 weeks of not seeing each other. We all jumped on my bed and nibbled some biscuits and apples for the 3 of us are on a lifetime
diet. I gave Ayan a surprise gift that made him even more noisy... The Magazine w/ our faces on it ( ahaha ) and w/ the hottest females in the country since 1990 till this very day. The 3 of us more like use their status symbol as an inspiration for image building and success in sex life and everything else I guess.

--->insert here---> We went to Gold's Gym and saw the cockroach! Well Raven said hi to him and I just didn't care. Besides I didn't want to waste my time with the roach king! We went back to the condo after our workout to rest for the party that night.

Then We started talking about super powers... One of the most interesting ideas of all time.

Ayan : " Flight " . My power is the ability to fly .

Gerard
: " Mind Reader " . My power is the ability to read every one's thoughts and plans before they even get into it. I'd know if their intentions are genuine or evil.

Me : " Strong Telekinetic " . My Power is the ability to control any object, matter or being w/o the use of physical force.

Well those chosen powers believe it or not are actually REAL.

You see when you choose a certain option or make a decision in life, it all
reflects your personality and goals and who you are.

Ayan -

The Power to Fly signifies the Unlimited dreams in life that you want to reach and a status that you want to be in w/c you work hard for to keep. It signifies Flexibility
to change direction and atmosphere. Most Super Heroes or Mutants who fly usually have the weakest alter ego but has the strongest traits, confidence & arrogance at some point. Flight also gives you the feeling of extreme freedom, The freedom to travel wherever you want.

Mercury or Hermes is the soul symbol of that specific power. He was once known
to be the messenger of the gods and had full control over his direction and authority. However He was also disliked by some celestial beings for being picky and He only chooses the god He'd share stories with , Since He knows every single issue, gossip & current events in the heavens... The pressure is how to remain tact and quiet at times and how to be a talker when the need comes.

Flight also makes your legs weak if you depend on it but makes you the master of the Air squad. Over All it signifies The Desire for Freedom and the Energy you get from travel.

Gerard -

Telepathy or The Ability to read a person's mind signifies the need for preparation. This power unleashes the intellectual side of you and is also known as the Psychic force that rewards you w/ an infinite scope of the future. It is mostly related to someone who wants things in advance and wants to be surrounded w/ people whom they can trust and has nointergrity issues.

Mostly based from previous experiences of when you were cheated, fooled or the exposure to a pathological liar. That intense inability to completely trust someone
brings out that force in you. You of all people do not want to be judged or ridiculed, And if that happens you are ready to hit them back with a counter judgement/attack.

Early studies of spontaneous ESP cases looked only for the explanation of telepathy. If someone "knew" something and could have obtained it from another person's
thoughts, that was telepathy. If what they knew was at that time unknown to anyone else, then it was dismissed as coincidence, for clairvoyance was inconceivable. The early research was mainly with "spontaneous" cases--events that just happened unexpectedly to people. ("I knew you were going to say that." "I didn't know that was what you were hoping I'd do, but something just made me do it.") Among spontaneous cases telepathy seems to be the commonest form of ESP, so the telepathy-oriented approach is understandable. Telepathy is extremely difficult to defeat

Your Soul Symbol is Charles Xavier.

Everybody hates rejection, but you ? just don't hate it, you of all people take
it to the next level and amazingly manipulate the situation to your desire and to shield yourself from terrible individuals w/ demonic thoughts or worst ? apre-meditated murder. It enables you to react fast and move ahead of time. This makes you the master of the court room. Overall it signifies the love for integrity.

ME (Raven) -
The Ability to control mind over matter... Telekinesis or Psychokinesis (PK) also refers to moving objects from one place to another without using physical contact. It also means re-shaping of objects using the mind's energies, such as bending & lifting, from the smallest spoon to the biggest aircraft, from controlling a drop of
water toseperating a glacier by just focusing. The term 'Psychokinesis' comes from the Greek words psyche meaning life or soul and kineisis meaning to move. This
Signifies the inner strength and leadership in you and the desire to do things your own way. You always want to make things smooth and easy but when you get mad you make things around you explode.

This power is very difficult to control and yet very easy to use. You can even
lift yourself to fly however you cannot control a person's mind, this force gives extreme confidence in facing tough situations. This makes you the master of the city. In a world where money and authority rule you definitely want control for the benefit of yourself and your friends.

Your soul symbol is Merlin the wizard who controls and lifts anything to protect himself. Knows as the only father of High Magic. Overall it signifies the inner strength, the need & want for a high position in the company or society and strong positive influence.

Hmmm ?

All of these are definitely making sense to me. We indeed have these powers and we just need to learn how to use it properly coz there are always 2 sides of the coin. These energies and powers can be used to hurt and heal. Like what I always hear... There are 2 wolves in a Man's heart the Wolf of Love & the wolf of hate, and Who wins? depends on who you feed the most.

So there we were ... The Traveller , The Mind Reader & The Controller.

It was 12 midnight when we started to get ready fixed up and went clubbing, We were all wearing something in common... The Military color. We got in the club pretty early and we figured that the crowd was the lamest of all. It was like the dawn of the dead wherein the people got infected of a deadly virus and affected the way they socialize and look. It was just bad. But still we enjoyed. Hanged and sat on the
couch in the VIP area and met some unwanted peeps, Even saw my ... (had to edit this part)

Anyway We went back home and sealed the night with a good sleep... (edit this part again hahaha!)

Anyhow the next day we all woke up so late and felt so lazy . it was the best lazy day i spent w/ my cousins... just not doing anything at all... after 5pm shorty came and we went singing and playing in Timezone. It was like a concert in our own private room.

Fun Fun Fun... the rest is history.

So the Traveller and the Mind Reader had to go home and get ready 4 work the next day... And I have to recharge and go back to work as well... and that was our own breakfast club . Will see you guys ! be safe and be good.

The fight to get fit

It's almost 2 weeks now since I started this diet to get rid of the extra flabs around my waist and I must say I never felt better. My room mate Raven suggested the diet ofcourse I still have to go to the gym. In just less than 2 weeks I lost 2 inches around my waist and I wanna continue until I'm happy with the results.

Above is my diet for last week... breakfast I only eat quacker oats - no sugar, salt, or milk. I'm only allowed to put fruits cause guys eating oats without anything is torture. Lunch I eat fruits or cucumber. Dinner I get to enjoy salmon or tuna. Make sure though that when you get those tuna in can that it's just in water not in vegetable oil unless it's olive or canola oil.
