Bruce Brenon
What's been your most embarrassing moment on the job?
At my first fashion show, the girls working backstage gave me underwear to put on. I was like: "Where's the changing room?" But there wasn't one. I had to get naked right in front of them.

John Passavant
What would you be doing now if you weren't a model?
I'd probably be in the armed forces. I think it's very honorable and would have no problem fighting if I had to.

Damon Willis
Did you ever go through an ugly stage?
I was short and chubby until I was 14. Then I suddenly got tall. At 17, people started telling me I should model.

Kahari Mays
Do women hit on you a lot?
I usually meet women through mutual friends. I don't date models. They're so used to being hit on, I can't act normal around them -- but then maybe I'm just scared of rejection.

Jeremy Black
Tell us about your most recent shoot.
I did a TV commercial for Speed Stick deodorant. I had to shave part of my armpits. My lines were: "How does lightning smell? Smell this. Cool."

Funny Facts about Male Models - Cosmopolitan USA

Here, 12 intriguing, embarrassing and beyond hilarious tidbits about male models:

1. The average height of a advertisement male model is 6 feet. Anything under 5 feet 11 is considered too short, and if he's over 6 feet 2, he's too tall. They weigh in at between 165 and 175 pounds.

2. On the day of a shoot, many models don't eat in order to prevent their tummies from protruding. Plus, they often experiment with dieting fads -- be it high carbs and no fat, high protein and no carbs or some other variation of extreme eating.

3. Right before a shoot, the guys will hit the ground and do a few vigorous sets of push-ups so their arms look especially pumped up in the photos.

4. The furry fellas get rid of their body hair, including any excess pubic hair (so it doesn't peek out above their briefs). Overheard at more than one shoot: "Dude, shaving is way better than waxing 'cause you don't get ingrowns."

5. Few male models take steroids, but many are into muscle-enhancing supplements like creatine.

6. Male models' incomes vary wildly -- from $50,000 to $650,000 per year. In general, a top male model makes half as much money as a top female model does.

7. Some guys have fragile egos. If a group of models is being photographed and only some have their shirts off, the ones with shirts on take it as an insult, assuming the stylist has left their bodies covered up because they're not as buff as the other guys.

8. One stylist remembers a model who became so excited while kissing a female model for the camera that he got a noticeable erection and had to ask for a moment to compose himself.

9. In fact, it's not uncommon for a penis problem to, uh, arise on set. An art director recalls: "We were shooting a guy in boxer briefs. His penis was so long, it was distracting. I asked him to tuck it in a little. But when he reemerged from the dressing room, he had a prominent erection. He thought I had told him it wasn't big enough!"

10. There's definitely heat on the set. Often, a male and female will get so "close" in front of the camera, they'll actually leave the shoot together, reports a stylist.

11. Like most men, models lie about their height. "If he says he's 6 feet 2, he's probably 6 feet," explains an art director.

12. And do they really rely on a signature facial expression, similar to Derek Zoolander's rehearsed mug, the Blue Steel? Recently, top model Tyson Beckford confessed that he did. "I guess you could call it the Sunset," he said. "When I look very seriously into the distance." However, the models we talked to maintain that, unlike Zoolander, they don't ... and they never practice their faces in the mirror.

Gateway mall... Araneta's answer to Ayala Center

Had an opportunity to go to Gateway Mall yesterday everning in CUBAO. Yes you heard it right I went to Cubao a.k.a. Araneta Center. If you are not familiar where it is try riding the MRT and get off at Araneta Center station after GMA 7 if you're coming from the north. If you're still not familiar where it is, just ask a basketball fanatic where the PBA (Philippine Basketball Association) usually hold their games and they would tell you where Araneta Center is.

I really don't go to Araneta Center or at least hang around the area because there's really nothing to do there plus the area is infamous for it's high record of holdup cases.

Araneta Center seems different last night though. The place seems to be cleaner from the last time I was there. I also noticed alot of security people around the area and there was Gateway Mall trying to blend in with the old buildings in the area.

Gateway is definitely a breath of fresh air to this place. Although 40% of the stores aren't open yet the mall is very promising. Definitely worth checking out.

After Araneta we decided to check out StarCity and had so much fun riding those rides we got so used to when we were younger... (posted some of the pics from both Gateway and StarCity)

Elektra - A Review

Recently deceased assassin Elektra Natchios (Jennifer Garner) is revived by the Order of the Hand, the crew of killers who trained her. Their leader, Kirigi, sends Elektra on a mission to kill Mark Miller (Goran Visnjic) and his young daughter, Abby. Soon, however, Elektra has befriended her would-be victims and decides to stand up to the Order, which then sentences her to death.

This movie deserves 4 out of 5 stars for special effects but sad to say it seems that at the later part of the movie the scenes seemed to have been rushed as the climax of the story didn’t hit the audience as I was expecting it too.

If you want a movie with a sexy brunette in a red dress flying around with daggers then this is the movie for you.

I’ll give it 3 out of 5 stars.

Meet the Fockers - A review

If you are a fan of Meet the parents back in 2000, then you probably would want to know what happened to Gaylord Focker played by Ben Stiller in this year’s Meet the Fockers.

The original deals with the joys of Gay dealing with an ex-CIA agent as a potential father-in-law Jack play by Robert De Niro together with his wife Dina Byrnes played by Blythe Danner.

Meet the Fockers starts a few months after Gay and Pam who’s already living together decided to give the folk’s a visit in anticipation of their upcoming wedding and Pam acknowledging a bun in the oven. This is also a perfect time for the conservative Jack and Dina time to meet Greg’s aging hippie parents, Bernie and Roz Focker played by Dustin Hoffman and Barbara Streisand. You’ll get to see how the ever stiff Jack give in to the funny and crazy Focker way of life.

All in all the movie is ok but sorry guys I still love the original. I guess I got so used to the plot of the story and got a little bored. Nothing new here I guess. But if you want something to help you pass time then this is the movie for you.

I'll give it 3 out of 5 stars.

Another sleepless day!

Uma&Pao BUma&Pao B againUma and Paolo after badminton

Zzzzzzzzzzzzz!!! This is what I need. Well I guess there would be so much time to sleep when I die! Hahaha! I guess I'm so used to a fast and busy lifestyle that I don't get to notice that I haven't been sleeping as much lately.

Coming out of my callcenter job (4AM - 1PM) I went home to my apartment and changed and went to Robinson's Galleria to meet up with my best bud Uma to watch a movie. A friend of mine is in it by the way. Hehehehe! Anyway I was having a hard time sending SMS using my SUN sim since 8AM yesterday. The funny thing is I can still make calls. Well I guess I shouldn't rant since I'm still using my SUN sim. Actually it's more of abusing it!

We got to Robinson's a little too early, one hour to be exact, so we decided to have a smoke and get something to eat then check out the shops in the mall. We liked this cute jacket at Terannova but it's too big for either of us... too bad since it was only 600 Pesos! We also checked out TOPman, Guess, Giordano, among others.

We then went back to the movie house, but before going in, we got ourselves something to eat at Popeyes. I grabbed a serving of my favorite mashed potato and Uma got a chicken burger. After the movie we got a call from our friend Paolo Ballesteros inviting us to play badminton somewhere in Pasig. Uma asked if I wanna go... I said "yeah sure". Although I wasn't sure if I can still enjoy playing badminton given that I'm already up for almost 24 hours and I have to go to work at 4AM. "Bahala na! Sige!" I said.

10PM we're at Paolo's place in Pasig. Got ready and went to the badminton court near his place. I miss playing badminton. Since I started working for eTelecare I didn't get to play badminton until recently. We got to meet Paolo's other friends and got to play badminton with them. Uma, the ever so funny guy, was struggling since it's only his second time to play badminton. But he definitely is better now than the first time we played.

12 midnight Uma got a call from Ara Mina. He forgot that they were supposed to meet up at MetroWalk tonight. I told him I can't join him anymore since I have work and my eyes are killing me. So we headed home. I went to sleep while Uma got ready for his date.

Modeling A-Z part 2

Presenting yourself

Going to auditions / screenings / go sees / vtr for clients is a very important part of the job. This is how you get projects and how clients get to know who you are. Many models make the mistake of trying to look extra elegant, sophisticated or out of the ordinary just to get the attention of others but don’t have the fashion knowledge to pull it off. Most clients wants to see the natural you. It is also important to check with your agent what you are getting yourself into. If you are going to a go see for a jeans fashion show then make sure that you go there wearing your best pair of jeans that makes you look good. Also for guys it’s not bad to wear make up as long as you don’t over do it. Maybe put a little concealer and fix your hair would be ok. I also recommend wearing a simple pair of jeans and a plain t-shirt on majority of your auditions. If you have it you will still stand out. Also it is very important to have a good personality and a professional attitude. Don’t try to be someone you’re not. Most clients are impressed by someone with the take-it-or-leave-it attitude than someone who begs attention to get a job.

Working the camera

The success of model also means that he/she has to look good on camera. Most of the successful models look very natural in pictures and videos because they practice it. Also a model should be confident in expressing his/her emotions in front of the camera and is ok with the fact that there is always a possibility of him/her exposing some flesh. Some models would even go the extra mile by researching and gathering up his/her own ideas before the shoot to add up to the story of the entire affair. Some even have developed their own character that they know they look good in. Some models look better when they are pissed, some look good on sexy pictorials, some just look good. Developing these looks and being able to apply it and act in front of the camera makes a model more marketable and also models who have developed their own character tends to find themselves crossing over the acting arena…

To be continued...

Modeling A-Z part 1

How to become a fashion model

You can’t! You read it right. It’s either you were born to become a model or you weren’t. If you are you probably have already been discovered. If you are not but you belong to the rare breed of creatures who are 5’9” to 6’ tall, not larger than a size 6 and have perfect skin between ages 14-20 or age and still un-discovered then you might want to read this article.

Finding an agency

Most models are discovered by modeling scouts roaming around the malls, schoolyards, clubs, gyms, etc or basically places where most young people hang out. If they think you are qualified, it’s very likely that you will be noticed. If someone approaches you what then? Well you can ask the name and a brief background of the agency. Be polite and just ask for their number and office address so you could schedule an appointment. Most often than not you are likely to get in because they already noticed your potential. Remember that not all agencies are alike and you should also consider the market that these agencies cater to. For example here in manila there are agencies that are known to have a big pool of good-looking male models female models and vice-versa while there are also agencies that specialize on kids. Aside from getting spotted in these places you might also want to send your pictures to agencies. It would be better if you send simple photos than sending an expensive portfolio because most agencies would like to see the natural you not a teenager trying to play dress up unless you’ve been in the business for quite some time now. Plus it costs a fortune to have those portfolios that professional models have. Another way for you to get noticed is to attend open castings that are being done by majority of agencies. If you have a friend who is connected with a modeling agency that you are interested in, why not try to get the number of the agency and ask when these open castings are? Joining modeling competitions is also a good way to get noticed. Although I would suggest that before you join one try to ask around which of the existing modeling competitions you think would fit your personality. There’s Bodyshots, MTV Fashionista, and SuperModel of the world among others.

Starting your career

Unless you already live in the big city, you will most likely have to move there after you've signed with an agency. The reason is because most of your gigs and projects would be within the metro. The start of a modeling career is a very difficult time. You have to have a strong character and something that your agency can sell to their clients. Again everything in modeling is about you being able to promote and sell products for their clients. Most models would start feeling insecure and weak. Most models don’t get jobs at first. Even well known models at first didn’t get to where they are right now without having to go through the same process as every model undergoes.

So you have an agency… now what? Well a life of a model is a 24/7 job. Amidst the glam and the fame modeling is no joke. If you really wanna make it big you have to work for it. Plus an agency can not be there to protect you 24 a day 7 days a week. There are stories of models who were drugged and violated by people they just recently met or have been given promises by people who they think can give them the moon. Frankly speaking models tend to believe and trust easily. I know some models who are snob and don’t talk and trust people easily because they have experienced such in the past. Of course the models who make it are those who are ambitious and who are willing to sacrifice a lot for the profession. They go to screenings / auditions on time and don’t complain that much when it comes to work. Most of those who don’t make it are those who don’t take modeling as a job.

The search started and stopped in different key locations in the Philippines like Iloilo, Cebu, and yesterday Manila and next Pampanga. Familiar people from the industry flocked the gates of mega mall as early as 8AM to get ahead in the line for the search for the next video jock for MTV Asia following the steps of MTV VJs Johan Ekedum, Patty Laurel, KC Montero, Sarah Meier, Marc Abaya, Cindy Kurleto, and those that came before them—Donita Rose, Mike Kasem, Nadya Hutagalung, Regine Tolentino, Belinda Panelo, Shannen Torres, and Francis M., among others—through the original VJ search.

VJs from MTV hosted the show that lasted until the wee hours of the night as applicants continue to register for the search. I got to SM Mega Mall around 3PM with my friend who used to work for Magic 89.9 and got listed with number 131 and 132 respectively. We were given a spiel to memorize and got ready to go up on stage and introduce ourselves and introduce the next video plus ask people to vote for us by texting in vj Manila plus the number of the auditionee and sending it to 234 for Smart subscribers.

It was definitely a fun and a learning experience for everyone. I didn't know how hard it was to be a VJ and talk in front of the camera until I got my chance. We'll we didn't get in but I'm happy for those who did. Who knows maybe 2 years from now I'll try my luck again and probably get it by then.

A carrot, an egg and a cup of coffee...

You will never look at a cup of coffee the same way again.

A young woman went to her mother and told her about her life and how things were so hard for her. She did not know how she was going to make it and wanted to give up. She was tired of fighting and struggling. It seemed that as soon as one problem was solved, a new one arose.

Her mother took her to the kitchen. She filled three pots with water and placed each on a high fire. Soon the pots came to a boil. In the first she placed carrots, in the second she placed eggs, and in the last she placed ground coffee beans. She let them sit and boil, without saying a word.

In about twenty minutes she turned off the burners. She fished the carrots out and placed them in a bowl. She pulled the eggs out and placed them in a bowl. Then she ladled the coffee out and placed it in a bowl. Turning to her daughter, she asked, “Tell me, what do you see?” Carrots, eggs, and coffee, she replied.

Her mother brought her closer and asked her to feel the carrots. She did and noted that they were soft. The mother then asked the daughter to take an egg and break it. After pulling off the shell, she observed the hard boiled egg. Finally, the mother asked the daughter to sip the coffee. The daughter smiled as she tasted its rich aroma.

The daughter then asked, “What does it mean, mother?” Her mother explained that each of these objects had faced the same adversity ... boiling water. But each reacted differently. The carrot went in strong, hard, and unrelenting. However, after being subjected to the boiling water, it softened and became weak.

The egg had been fragile. Its thin outer shell had protected its liquid interior,
but after sitting through the boiling water, its inside became hardened. The ground coffee beans were unique, however. After they were in the boiling water, they had changed the water.

“Which are you?” she asked her daughter. When adversity knocks on your door, how do you respond? Are you a carrot, an egg or a coffee bean? Think of this: Which am I?
Am I the carrot that seems strong, but with pain and adversity do I wilt and become soft and lose my strength?

Am I the egg that starts with a malleable heart, but changes with the heat? Did I have a fluid spirit, but after a death, a breakup, a financial hardship or some other trial, have I become hardened and stiff? Does my shell look the same, but on the inside am I bitter and tough with a stiff spirit and hardened heart? Or am I like the coffee bean? The bean actually changes the hot water, the very circumstance that brings the pain. When the water gets hot, it releases the fragrance and flavor.

If you are like the bean, when things are at their worst, you get better and change the situation around you. When the hour is the darkest and trials are their greatest, do you elevate yourself to another level? How do you handle adversity? Are you a carrot, an egg or a coffee bean? May you have enough happiness to make you sweet, enough trials to make you strong, enough sorrow to keep you human and enough hope to make you happy. The happiest of people don't necessarily have the best of everything; they just make the most of everything that comes along their way. The brightest future will always be based on a forgotten past; you can't go forward in life until you let go of your past failures and heartaches.

When you were born, you were crying and everyone around you was smiling. Live your life so at the end, you're the one who is smiling and everyone around you is crying.

As I mature

I've learned that you can not make someone love you.
All you can do is stalk them and hope they panic and give in.

I've learned that no matter how much I care,
some people are just assholes.

I've learned that it takes years to build up trust,
and it only takes suspicion, not proof, to destroy it.

I've learned that you can get by on charm for about 15 minutes.
After that, you'd better have a big willy or huge boobs.

I've learned that you shouldn't compare yourself to others
- they are more screwed up than you think.

I've learned that you can keep vomiting
long after you think you're finished.

I've learned that we are responsible for what we do,
unless we are celebrities.

I've learned that regardless of how hot and steamy a relationship is at first,
the passion fades, and there had better be a lot of money to take it's place!

I've learned that 99% of the time when something isn't working in your house,
one of your kids did it.

I've learned that the people you care most about in life are taken from you too soon
and all the less important ones just never go away.

Got a text message the other day about the search for the next Y Speak correspondent. Paolo Rebullida, John Lozano and myself auditioned for the part and was lucky enough to get in the final screening out of the 500 plus applicants who lined up as early as 8 in the morning at Studio 9 of ABSCBN.

We were given 30 seconds to introduce ourselves and explain why we should be considered for the part.

Paolo (commercial / print ad model), was called first and did a great job introducing himself and explaining why he should be chosen as one of the correspondents of Y Speak then finishing his spiel with "Why me? Why not? Y Speak!"

John (commercial / print ad model / stage actor / host) came in next and started with a very funny introduction. Being so used to the camera (with his previous hosting stint in ABC 5) definitely gave him the advantage and wowed the audience with his charisma.

Then came my time to go infront of the cam and introduce myself and explain why I should be chosen for the part. It may sound corny but I said the reason why I should be chosen for the part is because I believe in the youth and that the youth is the future of our country.

"Alam ko gasgas na masyado yung line." but I can't think of anything else to say during that time coming out of the office with not enough sleep and with nothing but coffee in my stomach that I think is a good enough answer. Hahahaha! By the way I really appreciate Tara for helping me find my way to the studio when I got to ABSCBN.

We (Uma Barum, Johan Ekedum, Ana Davilla, Jaypee Miguel, John Lozano, Aiza Marquez, and I) can't stop laughing while talking about what we did during the audition on our way to Greenbelt to watch a movie. We were supposed to watch "Blade Trinity" but the seats were all taken so we had to settle for this other movie called "Kung fu Hustle" which turned out to be unexpectedly good. After the movie we went to Music 21 at Jupiter, Makati and on our way there got ourselves into a small argument with a traffic enforcer caused by a hidden no U turn sign.

Anyway, I had a great time with my new and old friends. The only thing is, I'm here at work and I haven't slept all day plus I won't be out until 1PM later then have to prepare for my hosting job at Tomas Morato. Grrr!

Happy year of the Rooster everyone!!!

The sign of the Rooster indicates a person who is hard-working and definite about their decisions. Roosters are not afraid to speak their minds and can therefore sometimes come across as boastful. They make good restaurant owners and world travellers.

Horoscope for the Year of the Rooster

Aries in 2005 - Flexibility
If you want a motto for 2005, the best one to adopt would be "go with the flow." 2005 will be a year of ups and downs, and only the flexible will be able to keep from going crazy! All Aries natives may have to tighten their belts and curb their desire for constant expansion. You may need to play it cool and curb your spending. You'll be among the first to seize upon new societal trends to create new opportunities for yourself, as your creativity will be at an all-time high. You will be more eloquent and persuasive than usual, and others will identify enthusiastically with your vision. If you want to start a new creative project or business venture, your imagination will be working overtime. 2005 could find you doing well career-wise - and aspiring to climb even higher.

Taurus in 2005 - Tenacity
"Diligence" is the key word for you, Taurus. With hard work and focus, you will attain at least one important aspiration that has been on your agenda for a long time. This is the year you'll want to take stock of your career and ask yourself if you're doing the work you want to do for the rest of your life. As the year progresses, the more impressive your ideas and works become. As a result, your finances improve - and your newfound confidence could attract new love into your life. By the end of the year, you will have a whole new network of friends and group activity, stimulating new ideas and taking up your social life a notch or two.

Gemini in 2005 - Success
Your cycle of learning through the school of hard knocks has come to an end, Gemini, and now you're going to start reaping the rewards these "lessons" have left in their wake. As 2005 progresses, the road ahead will become clearer. You now have it in you to create the kind of life for yourself that you want. These leaps and bounds forward include love and creativity. Your learning of concepts of all kinds combines with extensive group activity, bringing your mind into a whole new space this year. By the end of 2005 you'll have a whole new start with regard to your career and your earning potential - and a possible new partnership to top it off!

Cancer in 2005 - Balance
Finding a balance between your personal and professional lives may be one of the year's strongest challenges. For the most part, your outward life this year will go in fits and starts - alternating periods of intense activity with times of welcome rest. Enjoy the restful periods when you can. The active ones will be hectic! You'll be making radical changes in your work habits, but you'll be a lot happier for it, and in the end you'll know it was worth it. Your love life is full, and any dissatisfaction with career and money matters fades into the background. By the end of 2005, you'll feel more confident, more determined, and far more capable of making the mountains come to you!

Leo in 2005 - Abundance
Pursuing a successful career, along with the usual social and financial advantages, will be easier this year than it has in a long time for you, Leo! The most difficult thing might be deciding which path means the most to you, and where to put your focus. You'll be able to create opportunities for advancement almost out of thin air. Romance in 2005 will make it a year to remember - and you'll be the envy of all your friends. Love comes willingly and easily. Money may suddenly become tight at a very inconvenient time. Yet, this is no comparison to the advancements you'll make overall, and by the end of 2005, you'll look back in sheer wonder and happiness.

Virgo in 2005 - Perseverance
Your working life might not go so smoothly this year, Virgo. For much of 2005, you'll be putting your nose to the grindstone. On the bright side, your finances will be pretty stable. Just don't take it for granted - you still need to be cautious this year. Your love life will thrive for most of the year, and any relationship begun or reaffirmed in 2005 is very likely to be a lasting one. And, you're going to develop a hopeless romantic streak. In spite of a lot of worry over your career, by the year's end, you'll see that 2005 has filled your life with prosperity and accomplishments.

Libra in 2005 - Expansion
Flex your muscles, friend Libra, and prepare for a relatively easy ride. With beneficent Jupiter in your sign, this is definitely your year, especially where your social life is concerned. Happiness and enjoyment lie ahead. If you're not presently married, and want to be, you just might wed by the end of the year. This is the year you're going to be doing a lot of travel and learning about your world, as expansion is the theme. The one department of life that may not quite be as hopeful as you'd like could be your career, where advancement may be slow and satisfaction rare. By year's end, you may find yourself seriously considering a major change - all for the best.

Scorpio in 2005 - Transmutation
Scorpio, you can still expect changes - perhaps major ones - in your life this year, almost to the point of total transformation. While this is most apparent in the area of your career, you'll see it showing up in other important aspects of your life. Your life might take on an entirely new direction you've never dreamed of. You may also change your residence during the year. Whether you start the year as a single person looking for a partner, or you've been married for many years, happiness in love does lie ahead. Be prepared for new horizons. They may not be familiar, but they will be fascinating. Don't cling to the banks; instead, flow with the tide in 2005.

Sagittarius in 2005 - Empowerment
Are you prepared to handle absolute power? If not, you will be soon! Your ruling planet, Jupiter, will be in a special relationship with Pluto - called "mutual reception" - in 2005. There's so much punch packed into this combination that it's almost scary. You'll find the ultimate power is the ability to choose your own destiny. You'll find practical ways of increasing your effectiveness in the world by gaining new skills that allow you to live more abundantly. By the second half of the year, you will finally feel welcome relief from the tight financial binds that have hindered you over the past two years. And, a relationship you begin now will last a very long time - like, for the rest of your life. Overall, 2005 is sure to be a year you won't forget.

Capricorn in 2005 - Resolution
You've got plenty of lucky breaks headed your way in 2005, friend Capricorn. The long awaited relief you've needed in your love life is around the corner, and by the end of the year you will feel much clearer about your partnerships in general. Financially, it could be a lean year, although some advance planning can help you weather the storm. Your career opportunities will expand exponentially, and you're likely to change jobs or positions this year. At times, the pressure on your job and home life may seem unbearable, but rest assured you will come through this stronger - and wiser - than ever, as more is revealed and resolved in 2005.

Aquarius in 2005 - Magic
2005 sees you expanding your intuitive and psychic skills even more, Aquarius. The mysteries of the universe continue to attract and intrigue you, as you apply your mystical awareness to the important decisions upcoming in your life, especially concerning partnerships of all kinds. 2005 is bound to bring at least one major success in the love department, and your career will be brimming with new enthusiasm and innovation. Not only that, but travel, adventure, and personal expansion infuse fresh energy into all areas of your life. By year's end, your creative decision-making will have carried you to whole new peaks - and a whole new view from above.

Pisces in 2005 - Self-confidence
It's a big year for you, friend Pisces. No doubt, in 2005 you'll find yourself pushed more and more out into the world. You'll experience a new sense of purpose and make plenty of new friends. Expect lots of surprises and lucky breaks this year, with Uranus bringing the unexpected in your career, your love life, and the world in general. At some point during the year, you could pick up a financial windfall, hear of a great career opportunity, or unexpectedly meet the love of your life. It's important that you take retreats and plenty of time for yourself to regenerate, as the rate of change in your personal and professional life will be fast and unpredictable. Remain calm and confident, and love is very likely to flourish in 2005. "Expect the unexpected," and enjoy the ride!
