Fitness First @ Mall of Asia

Fitness First - Mall of Asia is now open. Went there yesterday during their grand opening and this is definitely one of the biggest and most best facility of Fitness First so far. From the machines down to the lockers with magnetic cards this club has the best. The lounge is big enough with free internet soon. The mind and body room for pilates and body balance is very chic and relaxing! The wet areas are is as huge as the ones at D Block and The Fort.





Unfortunately they weren't ready when they opened yesterday. First of all the magnetic cards that you are given to access the lockers once you enter the gym is not very practical. It's very easy to lose the card plus they didn't even show the members how to use them so there were alot who got confused. There's also no hot water yet and you have to suffer taking a shower with cold water. The weights are not there yet and they said it will be available by Monday next week.

I guess I should go back next week then. For now I'll just enjoy working out in Makati or at D Block whenever I go home to my folks. Hey I'm not saying the facility is bad... My suggestion is not to go there within the week and probably go check it out later next week when everything is in place.

Didn't really like the food but then again it's the only restaurant open this early in the morning. (Saturday 8AM at Mall of Asia) After which I went to Foot for the Gods and had a foot spa and a foot reflexology... it was sooooooo relaxing!

Child Hope Asia visits Dell

Last saturday after our shift, Child Hope Asia Foundation made a visit to our facility thru the invitation of our community service department. Alot of us volunteered to assist and join the activities for the kids and what a day that was.

Church's Chicken

Yesterday I got to work a bit too early and decided to get something to eat. I came across this fast food joint called Church's Chicken and decided to give it a try rather than going to McDonald's again. Hehehe!

The place is deserted! Ok, I'm thinking twice now if I should buy here. Then again I wanted to see what they can offer. I ordered for their chicken and mashed potato meal since I wanna know if their chicken is any good. (Hope they live up to their name!) :)

Anyway, I liked their chicken but the service kinda sucks... They're just too slow and the girl at the counter doesn't seem to mind seeing their customers waiting. Well I guess that's why not too many people are eating there.

Realization...

Gee! I realized it’s been ages since I last logged on and posted anything on this blog. Thanks to my fans who’s been messaging me asking what I’ve been up to lately. Last time I count there were 5 of you guys! Hahaha! That many huh?

Kidding aside, I’ve been very busy again as always with my work and my friends. I would have posted more if the office didn’t block my multiply account! I guess IT discovered that everyone on the floor has been accessing the site and that it’s starting to annoy them or maybe they’re just jealous because we’re not as geeky as them hiding in that bat cave! Hahaha!


Ok so where do I start?

My weekends are usually busy… I was talking with my friend about how I look forward to my weekends. I feel alive and in control of my life during this two day break I get from work. Not that I hate my job… It does pay the bills and support my lifestyle but if I had a choice or if I was born rich I would rather travel around the world and enjoy every freaking day of my life.

Back to reality…

I’m doing this project for Dell now and it’s a very exciting one… I won’t discuss it here cause it might just bore you but I’m happy that my efforts are being recognized by the management although sometimes I’d rather sit on my chair and enjoy listening to my fave music on my mp4.

Last Tuesday morning was crazy… It was raining the whole day last Monday and I thought I won’t be able to make it to work… but I did. I woke up late though… didn’t hear my alarm. Well I told myself shit happens but it doesn’t mean I should feel bad. The morning after that I had a really hard time going back home to Makati. To think that it takes me 15 minutes to get to Mall of Asia from my condo by car / cab and it took me 2 hours to get home. I had fun the whole time though cause I get to experience something I don’t get to experience a lot and that was fighting for a ride home. I was with my co-workers that time so waiting wasn’t as bad. I was telling them to look at it in a positive way… at least we’re already on our way home unlike these people who are rushing to get to work. I can already smell that nice warm glass or milk and I can feel that warm bed waiting for me. Hehehe! It was kinda weird though to think that even Makati also have flood problems in some areas. I’ll leave that to the politicians… don’t wanna think about the negative stuff right now. All I know is that I’m happy with my life now and I know that things are just gonna get even better! What more can I ask for? I have nice friends, a nice place, a nice career, a new and flourishing love life… I guess some people can have it all...

IMAX Day!

This week is our cluster's Team Building Week... Yesterday we had our Leadership and Development Session and today we all watched Harry Potter at the IMAX Theater with my fellow Case Managers, Team Managers and our Area Manager Rache Cachuela.

Come Sunday we'll be going to Fontana at Clark Field Pampanga... Fun!

Dell Bowling Tournament

Last Saturday morning after work we headed to Grams Diner - Mall of Asia to have breakfast before the bowling tournament exclusively organized by Dell open to Case Managers / Team Managers / Area Managers.

Had so much fun bonding with the guys... by the way we won! See you at the finals.
