If you are a fan of Meet the parents back in 2000, then you probably would want to know what happened to Gaylord Focker played by Ben Stiller in this year’s Meet the Fockers.
The original deals with the joys of Gay dealing with an ex-CIA agent as a potential father-in-law Jack play by Robert De Niro together with his wife Dina Byrnes played by Blythe Danner.
Meet the Fockers starts a few months after Gay and Pam who’s already living together decided to give the folk’s a visit in anticipation of their upcoming wedding and Pam acknowledging a bun in the oven. This is also a perfect time for the conservative Jack and Dina time to meet Greg’s aging hippie parents, Bernie and Roz Focker played by Dustin Hoffman and Barbara Streisand. You’ll get to see how the ever stiff Jack give in to the funny and crazy Focker way of life.
All in all the movie is ok but sorry guys I still love the original. I guess I got so used to the plot of the story and got a little bored. Nothing new here I guess. But if you want something to help you pass time then this is the movie for you.
I'll give it 3 out of 5 stars.
